It is almost time for one of the BEST Toronto Food Event on June 12th, 2016 – what am I talking about?? Toronto Taste of course! For almost three decades, Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue charity, and The Daniels Corporation teams up with the city’s top chefs to support this great cause to help fight hunger!
Held at Corus Quay, the event will feature dishes and drinks from over 90 food and beverage establishments. Every year there are great prizes for the auctions and raffles, this year you can win a trip to India, be a sous chef for the Chef Challenge and one top fundraiser will even earn a spot to be part of a judging panel.
“We’re looking forward to an unforgettable culinary experience at Toronto Taste. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever before and we are thrilled to host an all-star lineup of Toronto’s brightest and most celebrated chefs and beverage purveyors,” said Debra Lawson, Executive Director, Second Harvest.
This event is critical as 20% of Second Harvest fundraising comes from this event alone! Since 1991, this event has raised over $11 million!
Here are all the restaurants and beverage purveyors participating this year! If you only go to one food event in Toronto this year, Toronto Taste is the place to be!
