Ingredients
  • 4cups almond milk (or milk of your liking)
  • 1tbsp turmeric powder (or freshly grated turmeric)
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 1tsp grated ginger
  • Honey (optional if you want to sweeten)
Instructions
  1. In a small pot, combine almond milk, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon stick, star anise, ginger
  2. On medium high heat, bring mixture to a boil and whisk together. Once it comes to a boil, turn off heat and put lid on pot.
  3. Let steep for 2 minutes and serve hot! (Sprinkle extra cinnamon and extra pepper on top if you like)
  4. Add honey or sweetener of your choice if you like
