How to Make The Best Taco Salad!

Ingredients
  • 1lb Protein of your choice (Beef, chicken, tofu, seafood)
  • 2 tablespoon Taco Seasoning
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 head Romaine Lettuce (washed, dried, chopped)
  • 1/4cup Red onions, thinly sliced
  • 1cup cherry tomatoes (sliced in half)
  • 1cup Mozzarella Cheese (or any type of cheese you like)
  • 1-2avocados sliced (you can use more or less depending on how big they are)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
  1. Marinate your protein of choice in 2 tablespoon of taco seasoning. Best to leave it ovenight to marinate but a few hours will do.
  2. In a cast iron on medium heat, heat up some oil and cook your marinated protein until cooked.
  3. While the protein is cooking, assemble your salad in a large bowl.
  4. Add lettuce, onions, cherry tomatoes, cheese, avocado, and sour cream to large bowl
  5. Top with your cooked protein, toss and enjoy!
