How to Make Easy Summer Cherry Cobbler
cake flour (or regular flour)
pitted fresh cherries
All Purpose Flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
In a 9×9 inch square pan, put in 1/2 cup butter and leave in preheating oven for 5 minutes until melted
Remove pan from oven once all the butter is melted.
In a bowl, add milk, flour, sugar, baking powder and mix thoroughly.
Pour flour and milk mixture over melted butter (no need to mix)
In another bowl, add pitted cherries with remaining flour, toss lightly
Add cherry mixtures on top of the flour and milk mixture (no need to mix)
Bake for 60 minutes until edges turn golden brown
Let cool a little and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
If you want to freeze this recipe, cut into individual slices and freeze individually (in containers or zip lock bags)
reheat frozen pieces in the oven for about 10 minutes at 375 F
If you don’t have cherries, you can use any type of berries you like (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
