Milton is the fastest growing town in all of Canada! And with that growth comes a perk- a wider variety of delicious cafes and restaurants cropping up along its busiest corridors for locals to enjoy. I’m okay, with this.
Milton’s latest is the super cozy and modern Arbour Café. Located in Downtown Milton (155 Main Street East) Arbour Café offers bubble teas, adorable desserts, and lattes for the on-the-go crowd.
Newly-married owners Julia and Andrew took the plunge and decided to start their own business after realizing that Milton doesn’t have a cafe for bubble teas or Asian treats.
The bubble teas here are the real McCoy. They make their teas with real milk (none of that powdered stuff, here)! They also test their recipes tirelessly before serving it to their customers. This is quality control with love, folks.
They also have this cool espresso and tea machine that extracts fresh tea for each and every cup of bubble tea. I’ve never seen anything like it. This means that there won’t be any stale teas sitting on the counter all day here. Arbour Café really shines with these attention to details and presents a refreshing break from the mass-produced, character-less hot drinks that are common in other cafes.
If you’re looking for a treat to go with your coffee (or tea), Arbour Café also offers delicious baked goods like cookies and muffins. I’ve also been told that they’ll be revealing an even more extensive menu with different Asian snacks quite soon. I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed for sweet toast with condensed milk!
Julia and Andrew are always looking to support local vendors and have shelves full of goodies from different Canadian establishments. So far there are assortments of teas and honeys!
Everyone in Milton is getting excited about Arbour Café, and with good reason. They’re serving up some truly unique food, and the amount of care and selection that goes into their ingredients is a very welcome addition to the neighbourhood. So be sure to check them out, pick up a chilled Taro bubble tea (my fav!) and say “Hi” to Julia and Andrew. You can thank me later!
